Pizza (or Pasta) cooking class & lunch – wine tasting experience

Daily roundtrip in Montemarano

Discover the amazing wines while walking through the wonderful vineyards and cantina with the guidance of the wine-maker (Guided tour of the vineyards and cantina). You will hear about the origin of all our wines, but also the family stories behind the wines. Discover the secrets of an exceptional wine area, devoted to the production of great red wines such as Taurasi and white wines such as Fiano and Coda di volpe.

The second part of your trip will be a cooking class. You can learn how to make and cook pizza in an old wood oven or how to cook hand-made pasta such as Ravioli. Learning while having fun is mandatory.

Relax with a typical long countryside lunch & wine tasting, while tasting six different kinds of wine. A lunch consisting of an appetizer with local products, two first courses, a second meat course and dessert, in which each dish will enhance the characteristics of our wines.

You will discover the “Maccaronara” with tomatoe Sauce, an homemade pasta typical of the villages of Castelfranci, Montemarano and Paternopoli, it is the perfect pairing with Montis Marani – Irpinia Aglianico Doc 2020. You will also taste handmade ravioli paired with Anthonia wine, while meat is the perfect match for Antyco- our Taurasi docg.

You will learn about the Taurasi docg, the wine-diamond of the south.

Either way, you will enjoy a meal in which local dishes are selected in order to celebrate the characteristics of our beautiful wines.

Starter

Irpinian cheeses, bruschetta, salami and chestnuts: dish with chestnuts soup/ three different kinds of cheeses (provolone dop, pecorino)/ handmade salami/ bruschetta with tomatoes and green peppers. The pizza created during the cooking class will be cooked live in the wood oven.

First courses

Ravioli with pumpkin cream: Hand-made ravioli with pumpkin cream made of organic vegetable planted by a local farmer with grated seasoned pecorino bagnolese

Maccaronara al Ragù: Hand made long pasta with tomato sauce made of local meat and tomatoes.

Main course

Straccetti di Vitello: Cut of veal made with cherry tomatoes, green rocket, parmigiano reggiano dop and balsamic vinegar cream.

Dessert

Tirmisù: Typical Italian dessert

Price of the Cooking & experience : 90 € per person (the price for children is different)

We also offer the cooking & wine experience with round-trip transportation from Naples area, Sorrento coast, Amalfi coast, Salerno and other locations.

The price depends on the number of people and pick-up location.
