Since 1999
Our story is simple: it’s the story of a family, a land, and a woman who chose to turn a passion into something real.
Cortecorbo is a small family winery in Montemarano, in the heart of Irpinia. We produce around 10,000 bottles per year, taking care of every step with the same attention and dedication that has always guided our family.
Our roots go back to 1970, when our grandfather Soccorso planted the first Aglianico vines in a place called Cortecorbo — the land that still gives life to our wines today. For him, wine was something to share with family and friends, a simple but meaningful part of life.
Everything changed in 1999, when his daughter Antonia decided to carry that tradition forward and build something of her own.
With courage, vision, and a deep love for her land, she founded Cortecorbo. Step by step, she transformed a family tradition into a real winery, creating wines that reflect both the identity of Irpinia and her personal story.
Antonia is not only a winemaker, but also a cook and a natural host. For her, wine has always been connected to people, food, and moments shared around a table.
Today, the winery is still guided by her hands and her vision. Alongside her, her sons Antonio and Federico are beginning their own journey, learning day by day what it truly means to make wine with patience and respect.
Our wines are born from Aglianico and other local grapes, and each label tells a small part of our story — the land we come from, the family we belong to, and the path we are building together.
We work with great respect for nature, following a low-impact approach in the vineyard and avoiding the use of pesticides. We believe that healthy grapes come from a balanced ecosystem, where the land is cared for with patience and responsibility, allowing each vintage to express itself in an authentic way.
We don’t produce large quantities, and we don’t try to.
We simply try to make wines that are honest, rooted in our land, and capable of telling who we are.
Cortecorbo is not just a winery. It is our home, our story, and our way of sharing a piece of Irpinia with those who come to visit us.
